Dreamy Banana Bread

One of my ultimate favourite cakes is banana bread. It's easy (as I don't posses the patience of being in the kitchen for too long), quick to make and not to mention, cheap as well. The result is always delicious snack that to be honest, is eaten in a day or so. And there's the two of us who live in one apartment.

So without further of do, let's start with the recipe.

You will need:

- 2 to 3 very ripe bananas peeled (I usually use two)

- 1/3 cup melted butter

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- Pinch of salt

- 3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet I prefer it less sweet)

- 1 large egg beaten

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250º.

  2. Stir together butter and sugar.

  3. Add eggs and crushed bananas.

  4. Combine well.

  5. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla.

  6. Mix just until combined. Do not overmix.

  7. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.

  8. Bake at 250º for 55 minutes.

  9. Enjoy

What's missing now? The appetite! So go ahead and enjoy your own Dreamy Banana Bread.
